Summer Reading Programs have begun! There are programs for children, teens AND adults this year! Grab your library card!
The art exhibit this month is a collection of Pembroke scenes by local artist Becky Haletky. Usually on display at the Town Hall, stop by if you haven't had a chance to see them!
Congratulations to the staff, and especially to editor Kathy Benvie, for winning First Place for our newsletter at the Massachusetts Library Association Annual Conference. Our newsletter is informative and attractive. Available quarterly, the summer one is coming soon! on our news page.
The Friends of the Pembroke Library are having an ebay auction to help fund the wonderful work they do for the library. There is a wide selection of items from books (of course!) to a cool electric guitar donated by 3D Guitar to dolls and antique snow shoes!
A special thank you to the the Pembroke Cultural Council and the Massachusetts Cultural Council for awarding the library a grant to pay for a performer for the summer reading program. The Friends of the Pembroke Library also received a grant to help fund our popular museum passes.

How important is your library to you? In tough economic times, people turn to libraries more than ever for recreation, Internet access and financial and employment information. This December, 15% MORE items were borrowed in Pembroke than last December. Everyone is talking about the value of libraries.
In these challenging times it is good to know how much your library provides in services. Check the value you receive!

Monday - Thursday : 10 am - 8 pm
Friday & Saturday : 10 am - 5 pm
Sundays : 12 pm - 4 pm (October to May)
Closed all legal Holidays
