There is an opening in the Board of Trustees. If you want to help support the library and have good networking and people skills, we are looking for you! Please come in and speak with the Director for more information. New members are always welcome at the library and we want all Pembroke residents to have a library card. They may be used in all SAILS Library Network libraries and you will need one to use the Internet computers in the library. The first card is free, just bring in identification. Lost your card? A replacement is only $1.00.
The library is now a permanent drop-off site for food donations for the Pembroke Food Pantry. Hundreds of Pembroke residents are helped at the pantry. The work of Pembroke artist Karen Snow is on display during the month of August in the meeting room gallery at the Pembroke Library at 142 Center St. Pembroke. Gallery hours are Mon –Thur. 10-8 and Fri & Sat. 10-5
The gallery space in the meeting room is a great place to view local artist's work, or show your own. The library has large exhibit cases at the entrance. They are available to display collections or small art work. New window display: Breyer horses!
