Talking About COVID-19 With Kids
- Coronavirus: A Book for Children is an NHS-endorsed project with pictures by award-winning illustrator Axel Scheffler. This is a FREE digital information book for primary school age children to help explain the coronavirus and the measures taken to control it. It answers lots of questions in a child-friendly way, and aims to both inform and reassure.
- KidsHealth offers talking points and tips for opening the conversation with your children.
- Sesame Street's Care Kit includes resources and tips about living in "the new normal" as well as ideas about building routines and ways to play and create together at home.
- PBS Kids lays out a three step plan for informing and reassuring your young ones during this time.
- World Book has a new, free eBook about the dos and don’ts to help you and your family stay safe. Read Covid-19: What Can Kids Do? online.
