Holiday hours: The library will close at 2 PM, Wednesday, November 26th and will be closed Thursday, November 27th for Thanksgiving. We WILL BE OPEN on Friday, November 28th!
We will close at 2 PM, December 24th and will be closed December 25th for Christmas. We will be open Friday, December 26th.
We will close at 4 PM on Wednesday, December 31st and will be closed on Thursday, January 1st for New Year's. We will be open Friday, January 2nd.
The Pembroke Public Library is sponsoring a Pajama Drive for the
Pembroke Community Group! Please bring in new pajamas, tags attached and in bags if possible but NOT wrapped. All sizes are needed and welcomed, don’t forget the teens and adults!
Please bring in your donation by Wednesday, December 10th to allow time for the Community Group to distribute to the Pembroke families on their list.
They are also having a toy, clothing and gift card collection. Drop these donations at the Recreation Center or the Fire Station. Any check donations should be made out and mailed to Pembroke Community Group, P.O. Box 1387, Pembroke, MA 02359.

Roosevelt Memorabilia in the Display Case
Stop in and see memorabilia for Franklin, Teddy & Eleanor Roosevelt in the display case by the front door. These amazing and varied items have been collected over the past fifty years by Pembroke resident Stephen Driscoll. He became interested in collecting political and presidential items at the young age of six and has had great success in finding some intriguing items from pipes to plates to shot glasses, photographs and toys.
Have you seen our new Early Literacy Station in the Children's Room?
There are over 60 educational games with a touch screen. This computer was generously donated by the Friends of the Pembroke Public Library.
If you have a collection that you would like to display,
we'd love to see them.
Our display cases are available for exhibits in one month blocks!
The limited edition Pembroke history book is HERE! It is a beautiful hardcover edition sure to please anyone who knows Pembroke. Only $50.00, at the library.
Did you know we also have the beautiful prints of local artist's Becky Haletky's Pembroke images? We have all the 300th memorabilia for sale. There is still time to pick up these special momentos!

We are a drop off site for food and cash for the Pembroke Food Pantry.
