- Place your Holds online or call us at 781-293-6771.
- When you are notified that your Hold is ready, call us at 781-293-6771 and schedule your Curbside Pickup.
- Visit the library's entrance at your scheduled time to pick up your items. Call us to let us know you are here.

Ordering Materials
What can I borrow? You can borrow any items that you can place on Hold – books, films, audiobooks, magazines, etc. Search the SAILS catalog and place Holds on the items you want. You can also search and place Holds on ComCat items.
What if I don’t know exactly what I want to order? You can either fill out our online recommendation form or call the library (781-293-6771) and let us know what you're interested in reading. Staff will then pick out a selection of titles that we hope you will enjoy.
How do I place an order? There are two ways: online or by phone (781-293-6771). For each, you will need to know your library card number and PIN. Your PIN is most often the last 4 digits of the phone number you gave us when you registered your card. Still unsure? You can give us a call and a staff member will assist you.
Can I order items if I don’t have a library card? You must have a SAILS card to borrow materials. If you don't have one yet, you can sign up online. Membership is free for all residents of Massachusetts.

How are pickups scheduled? Call the library (781-293-6771) to schedule your appointment. Pickups are scheduled at 15 minute intervals.
What happens when I visit to pick up the material?
Can I ask someone else to pick up my items? Yes! You can have a family member, friend, or neighbor pick up your item(s).
What if I cannot get out of my car and/or cannot call when I arrive? When staff call you to make your appointment, we will ask if you need accommodations for these things and will employ a planned, adapted pickup method for you.
What happens if I forget and don’t pick up my items at the scheduled time? Call the library as soon as possible to arrange a new pickup time. If we do not hear from you, staff will give you a call the next day. If we cannot reach you, the items will be removed from your account and returned to the shelves so another patron may borrow them.
What happens when I visit to pick up the material?

- We ask that all returns go into the book drop by the main entrance.
