Local History Research

The library has a special collection of books on Pembroke's long history, including town reports.
The library also has school yearbooks from the early editions of The Mattakeesett from Pembroke High School dating back to the 1950s, to when Pembroke was part of Silver Lake, to current yearbooks. There is also a collection of books from the Pembroke Female Reading Society, which grew into the Pembroke Free Library, and now the Pembroke Public Library.
