Meeting Rooms Available for Groups

Libraries play a vital role in the community, providing a place where groups, organizations, businesses, and friends can meet. In 2018 alone, meeting/community rooms in libraries across the commonwealth were reserved 268,000 times.

Main Meeting Room

Photo of Main Meeting Room. Carpeted meeting room with four tables; each table has two chairs placed next to it. Small, framed art pieces and photographs are hung on the walls. Two tall windows are on the far wall. The main meeting room is available for classes and meetings.
The Library meeting room is primarily available for library programs and functions that support the informational, educational, and cultural purposes of the library.

When not being used by the library, the room is available for use by non-profit community groups upon approval of an application form. The room is equipped with audio/video equipment and has a capacity of 100 people.

Art exhibits are displayed on a month by month basis.

While every attempt is made to accommodate requests, the Library and the Town has first priority for space for events and classes.

Trustees Room

The smaller Trustees Room is offered, subject to the same rules as the larger room, to smaller groups based on availability.

Please fill out the Meeting Room Application below to begin the reservation process. Completed forms may be emailed to Stephanie McBain at smcbain[at]sailsinc[dot]org, faxed to 781-294-0742, or dropped off at the library in person.
